April 4,1961, defendants (respondents and cross-appellants) as purchasers entered into a contract with Norman Roberts and wife as vendors for the purchase and sale of a farm in Bear Lake county, together with certain dairy cattle and equipment thereon. The contract price was $90,000, of which defendants paid $7,500 on execution of the agreement. August 18, 1961, Roberts and wife in an exchange of properties transferred their interest in the contract and property to the plaintiff (appellant and cross-respondent).
