OPINION

Petitioner was a classified Shelby County employee who was terminated following a hearing before the County’s Civil Service Merit Board. Petitioner appealed the Board’s decision to chancery court, which found that Petitioner’s own statements at his pretermination hearing constituted sufficient evidence to sustain the Board’s action.
