Plaintiff brought this action for slander against the" defendant. There was a verdict and judgment in plaintiff’s favor for $2,500, to reverse which the defendant prosecutes this appeal.
Plaintiff’s theory of the case was that the defendant maliciously called plaintiff “you low whore, you dirty whore” in the presence of a,great many people in a public street in Chicago.
