Plaintiff-appellant Jose Valentin appeals from an order of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Michael B. Mukasey, Judge) dismissing his civil rights action against defendant “Dona-van, N.Y.C. Police Dept.,” for Valentin’s failure to follow the district court’s order to provide a more detailed description of that defendant. We vacate the order of dismissal and remand for further proceedings.
