MEMORANDUM DECISION AND ORDER DISMISSING CASE FOR LACK OF SUBJECT MATTER JURISDICTION

Plaintiff Anthony Tripodi commenced this action for malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress (extreme and outrageous conduct), and violation of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act in 1996, in the District of Connecticut. 1 The complaint alleges that plaintiff ceased to be a member of the defendant Local Union No. 38 (“the Union”) after he was laid off from a job in 1993.
