PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

Plaintiff Patricia A. Fox (“Fox”) initiated the pending civil rights action against defendants the County of Yates (“the County”), Sheriff Ronald G. Spike (“Spike”), Undersheriff John C. Gleason (“Gleason”) and Lieutenant Clay Rugar (“Rugar”) (collectively, “defendants”), asserting various constitutional and state law claims arising out of her employment as a corrections officer at the Yates County Jail (“the jail”) and her prosecution for allegedly falsifying time cards during her employment.
