This appeal arises from the district court’s entry of default judgment in the amount of $3,832,832 against John Acord and his mother, Marcella Ortega (collectively, the “Appellants”), pursuant to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 16(f) and 37(b)(2)(A)(vi).
