This appeal is from a judgment of dismissal in an action brought under § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185(a), 1 by the United Steelworkers against Rome Industries. 2 The Steelworkers seek specific performance of an alleged collective bargaining agreement with Rome, an injunction requiring Rome to formalize the alleged agreement by reducing it to writing and signing it, and incidental damages as a result of Rome’s violations of the terms of the alleged agreement.
