BROWN, Associate Justice.

This is an original suit in this court seeking a mandamus against the respondent, C. K. Bell, Attorney-General of the State, to compel him to pay over to the relator certain moneys alleged to be in the hands of the respondent and claimed to belong to the relator. The petition alleges in substance that at the date of the collections made in the several cases stated, the relator was and is now district attorney for the judicial district which embraces Travis County, and that C. K. Bell was then and is now the Attorney-General of the State of Texas. It is alleged that…
