The defendant was indicted for murder, and was convicted of voluntary manslaughter. His motion for new trial was overruled, and he excepted. The first special ground of the motion complains of the admission of certain evidence. The objection was that the evidence was “prejudicial and immaterial to the issues” of the case. The evidence objected to was quite lengthy and takes up two typewritten pages of the record.
