On August 31, 1891,' Cliff F. Harrison and the plaintiff resided in Rutland, Vermont. On that date the defendant, a life insurance corporation organized under the laws of Wisconsin but doing business in Vermont, issued to said Harrison a policy on his life for $2,000, payable to his “ executors, administrators or assigns.” The policy recited that it was delivered at its office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
