The prisoners are indicted for the crime of conspiracy to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate a citizen of the United States and of the state of New York, to-wit, Norman W. Dodge, because he had exercised a right and privilege secured to him by the constitution and laws of the United States. In another count of the indictment, the conspiracy is charged to have been made and entered upon, to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate Norman W.
