This case deals with the lien of a conditional sales contract.

On May 19,1936, Pierce Duco Shop of Spartanburg, South Carolina, sold to Harry H. Zaglin, a resident and citizen of that State, an automobile. To secure an unpaid balance of the purchase price, title was reserved. The contract of reservation was duly recorded in South Carolina and shortly thereafter, for value, was assigned to C. I. T. Corporation. On July 26, 1936, Zaglin, the purchaser, without the consent or knowledge of this vendor or its assignee, started in his car on a trip to Baltimore.
