In 2009, Appellant Richard James “Paul” Harrison was tried on charges of murder and felony murder in connection with the shooting death of Dewey Lamar Johnson, but the trial ended in a mistrial when the jury was unable to reach a verdict. Appellant was retried in 2011 before another jury and found guilty of murder and felony murder.
