This appeal arises from the defendant’s conviction of trafficking in cocaine in violation of G. L. c. 94C, § 32E (6) (1992 ed.). The defendant challenges the denial of his pretrial motions to suppress (1) the cocaine seized from his person and from his apartment at the time of his arrest, and (2) his response to a question asked of him during the booking procedure.
