After a bench trial, defendant, Terrence Bernotas, was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 95V2, par. 11 — 501(a)(2)) and improper lane usage (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 95V2, par. 11 — 709). He was fined $450 plus costs on the two convictions.
