The Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Criminal Cases (Committee) has submitted a report seeking amendments to a number of standard criminal jury instructions pertaining to prostitution and lewd or lascivious conduct. We have jurisdiction. See art. V, § 2(a), Fla. Const.

The Committee’s report1 is in response to the Court’s request that the Committee *42review the instructions on sexual offenses and consider “whether a uniform definition for ‘lewd and lascivious’ is needed and whether the term ‘sensual intent’ or ‘sensual intention’ should be included in that definition.” In…
