Jack R. Willis, appellee, obtained a judgment for damages in the amount of $21,000 against Holland Furnace Company, appellant, a foreign corporation, for the negligent installation of a furnace in appellee’s house in 1962, which installation caused the house and personal items therein to burn and become damaged in January 1964. The petition sought service of process upon the appellant by service upon the Secretary of State under Code Ann. §§ 22-1507, 22-1508 (Ga.
