The bill is filed by complainants as executors asking the instructions of the court as to the effect of a certain provision in testator's will, and the rights of the parties thereunder.

By the residuary clause testator gave all his residuary estate to his executors and directed them "to divide my said estate as follows:" one-third to his wife; one-third to his daughter; one-sixth to his foster son; the remaining one-sixth "to be divided into five equal parts as follows:

"1. One part to Charles Mast and Anna Mast, his wife.
