This is an action to recover $755.90 for conversion of *600mortgaged corn and oats. To secure an indebtedness of $4,545.10 the chattel mortgage was executed June 9, 1927, and was a lien on live stock, farming implements, crops and other personal property in Pierce county. The crops were then growing on a half section of land definitely described in the chattel mortgage—land on which mortgagor was a tenant.
