SMITH, Justice.

William C. Coleman pleaded guilty to first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse. Coleman then filed a petition for postcon-viction relief pursuant to Rule 32, Ala. R.Crim. P., alleging ineffective assistance of counsel; the circuit court summarily dismissed Coleman’s Rule 32 petition.
