It seems to me that the reasonable inference, from testimony meager in volume, and much of it palpably false, is that the relator came to Canada from China, intending to enter the United States, promptly did enter, and was arrested before he had time to leave the frontier; i. e., Buffalo. This brings the matter within Ung Bak Foon v. Prentis, 227 Fed. 406, 142 C. C. A. 102, and Lewis v. Frick, 233 U. S. at 303, 34 Sup. Ct. 488, 58 L. Ed. 967.
The difficulty of reaching any conclusion on such testimony is, however, recognized: and the opinion of the court holds, in effect, that unless the…
