Kane, J.

Plaintiffs commenced the instant suit to recover for personal injuries sustained by the infant plaintiff, Loren Graham, due to a dog bite inflicted on him by defendants’ dog. Recovery for loss of services was also sought by Loren’s mother, who is also a plaintiff in the action. The incident occurred on June 28, 1984, when Loren, who was nine years old at the time, went to defendants’ home apparently to play with one of their children. At the trial, Loren testified that as he approached the house, he saw defendants’ dog, unleashed on the porch, looking toward him…
