|tThe defendant, Mark Richie, was charged by amended bill of information with three counts of armed robbery, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:64, and two counts of attempted armed robbery, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:64 and 14:27. After a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of three counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery. He was sentenced to 45 years’ imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence for each conviction, with all of the sentences to be served concurrently.
