Plaintiffs, taxpayers in the town of Taylor, Cortland county, seek a judgment adjudicating as illegal and void a tax of $20,116.98 levied against the town by the board of supervisors for the cost of construction by the county of a concrete bridge across the Otselic river and for the repair of an adjacent culvert known as the Martin Wire bridge. These improvements are wholly within the town of Taylor.
