The United States commenced an action under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, 8 U.S.C. §§ 1101 et seq., against Johann Breyer, seeking his denatu-ralization based on his service as an armed guard in Nazi concentration camps during World War II. Breyer’s naturalization was premised on his 1952 entry into the United States as a displaced person under the Displaced Persons Act of 1948, Pub.L. No. 80-774, 62 Stat. 1009, amended by Pub.L.
