MORROW, Presiding Judge.
—The judgment condemns appellant to confinement in the penitentiary for a period of twenty-five years for the offense of murder.
Jim Havard was shot and killed by the appellant, the weapon used being a shot-gun loaded with buckshot.
Besides murder, the issues of manslaughter and self-defense were submitted.
The deceased was the husband of appellant’s sister and the father of her six living children. Appellant was twenty-four years of age, and on the day before the homicide had from his mother received information that the deceased had impeached the chastity of his wife,…
