Plaintiff owned a lot with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated in the city of Lake Charles. The property owned by him was sold on June 19, 1920, at judicial sale. This sale was made in the execution of a judgment for the sum of $68.15, rendered on constructive service against plaintiff, in favor of the Joe Jacobs Company. At this sale, defendant was the purchaser, the property having been adjudicated to him for the sum of $1,367.
