WENNER, Judge.

Appellant, Gregory Benjamin, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City of second degree assault and related charges. After he was sentenced to a term of twenty-five years without parole for the use of a handgun during the commission of a crime of violence conviction, to a term of ten consecutive years for the second degree assault conviction, to an additional term of five consecutive years for the possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence conviction, and to a concurrent term of five years for the reckless endangerment conviction,…
