Ryan v. Foreman

This is an appeal from the judgment of the Appellate Court for the First District affirming the judgment of the superior court of Cook county in overruling a demurrer to a petition for mandamus filed in said superior court of Cook county by Lola Ryan, as guardian of Bernice Gibbons, a minor, against appellants, as the board of trustees of the police pension fund of the city of Chicago. To such petition appellants demurred generally. The superior court overruled the demurrer and directed the issuance of a writ of mandamus against appellants as prayed in the petition.
