MEMORANDUM OPINION The District of Columbia denied DeLorean 88 LLC a permit to operate a medical cannabis dispensary because DeLorean’s proposed storefront was within 300 feet of an elementary school. Undeterred, DeLorean opened a cannabis retail business there anyway. Predictably, the District shut the business down for violating its laws prohibiting the commercial sale of cannabis outside of its medical cannabis licensing scheme.…
