Briefly, the history of the matter involved in this proceeding is as follows: The city of Grand Fords, under the authority of §§ 2825 et seq., Rev. Code 1905, as amended by chap. 47, Laws of 1907, chap. 58, Laws of 1909, and chap. 47, Laws of. 1911, attempted to extend its boundaries so as to embrace and include something over 700 additional acres, including 10 acres belonging to the Red River Valley Brick Corporation, one of the relators herein.
