Claimant seeks to recover damages for the flooding of his farm situated north of the village of Canastota, in the town of Lenox, Madison County. His property consisted of thirty-eight acres of so-called muck land, which were drained by eight lateral and two main ditches flowing into Colton Ditch and thence into Cowaselon Creek.
