A jury in this Section 1983 1 action found that the plaintiff, Cornelius L. Fagot, a Continental Airlines ticket agent at New Orleans International Airport, was arrested without probable cause by the individual defendant police officers, Salvador J. Ciravola and John W. Flannery, III, on charges of disturbing the peace, resisting an officer, obstructing police, and simple battery, all in alleged violation of various ordinances of the city of Kenner, Louisiana. The jury verdict was for $10,000 general damages and $10,000 punitive damages against the individual…
