I. BACKGROUND
On March 18, 1996 Plaintiff Mike Rosen & Associates, P.C. (“Rosen”) filed a complaint against Defendant Omega Builders, Ltd. (“Omega”) alleging copyright infringement. Plaintiff Rosen alleged that it was the author of certain architectural documents (the “Architectural Work”), that it had assigned the copyright in the Architectural Work to the Peter Carolino Company (“Carolino”), and that Carolino had later re-assigned the copyright to Plaintiff Rosen for purposes of this action.
