Roosevelt J. Lewis, Jr., and Carolyn D. Lewis sued First Tuskegee Bank ("First Tuskegee"), alleging fraud, deceit, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty. The Lewises claimed that First Tuskegee had caused them monetary damages and the loss of their right of redemption on real property they had previously owned.
