On November 22, 1983, appellant, Beulah Price, was in- dieted on one court of felonious assault; the indictment contained a firearm specification. R.C. 2903.11 and 2929.71. Appellant entered a plea of not guilty. The case went to trial before a jury on May 8, 1984, and appellant was convicted. She was sentenced to a mandatory three-year prison term on the firearm specification and a consecutive term of four to fifteen years on the felonious assault conviction.
