delivered the opinion of the court.

This was an action of assumpsit, in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, by appellee against appellant, to recover as a beneficiary member of appellant’s order, for alleged total disability. Trial was by jury. Verdict and judgment in favor of appellee for $1,500.

Appellee’s beneficiary certificate provides for the payment to him by appellant of the sum of $1,500, in the event of his total disability, and it also provides that such certificate is issued on the condition that appellee shall comply with all the laws, rules and…
