This wat an action instituted before George "W". Brown, justice of the peace for Taylor county, in which the defendants, Robinson and Dunham, were summoned to an-*314swop tlie oornplaiut “of L. Spence, use of Noah Beck, in a civil action for the recovery of money clue on contract.” The defendants failed to appear, and the plaintiff had judgment for the sum of one hundred and fifty four dollars and forty cents, with interest and costs.
