This case arises from the shooting of the plaintiff, Mark Hill, in the lobby of 1158 N. Cleveland, Chicago, Illinois, a building which is part of defendant Chicago Housing Authority’s (hereinafter CHA’s) Cabrini Green Housing Project. Plaintiff brought a single-count complaint against CHA and defendant Triad Security alleging negligence by the defendants.
