Adedamola Olagoke Oni (“Dr. Oni”) is the adoptive father of twins born to Cassondra Oni (“Ms. Oni”).1 The trial court granted Ms. Oni’s motion to set aside the final decree of adoption, and Dr. Oni appeals. He alleges that the trial court erred in: (1) denying his motion to dismiss as untimely Ms. Oni’s petition to set aside the adoption decree; (2) granting Ms. Oni’s petition to set aside on its merits; and (3) removing custody of the children from him and granting temporary custody to Ms. Oni.
