CHATPIELD, District Judge.

The present action involves a determination of the title to certain plots of land running across the strip of sand on the southern portion of Long Island, generally called “Rockaway Point.” These plots of land are bounded laterally by the extension of the side lines of certain parcels upon the north side of what is known as Rockaway Inlet.
