In mandamus proceedings brought in' the District Court of San Juan, Section 1, judgment was rendered May 22, 1914, ordering the reinstatement of petitioner in the office of Superintendent of the Municipal Hospitals, from which it was held he had been illegally removed by the alcalde.
Upon May 29 defendant, having filed his notice of appeal after notification of the judgment, moved the court for an extension of 30 days, to run from the date upon which the stenographer should deliver the record, within which to present the statement of the case and bill of exceptions, and set forth the grounds…
