Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Ingram, J.), rendered June 3, 2013, convicting him of assault in the first degree and gang assault in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and sentencing him to a determinate term of imprisonment of 19 years followed by a period of five years of postrelease supervision on each of his convictions, and a fine in the sum of $5,000 on the conviction of assault in the first degree, with the terms of imprisonment to run concurrently with each other.
