Plaintiff corporation is not exempt from rent control, under paragraph (a) of subdivision 2 of section 2 of the State Residential Rent Law-*770(L. 1946, ch. 274, as amd.), merely for the reason that its profits are required by its certificate of incorporation to be devoted to educational or charitable purposes. Neither is the rent ceiling removed from the apartment in question merely by reason of its having been rented in a furnished condition.
