This is an appeal of defendant’s jury conviction for two counts of aiding and abetting wire fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1343, for which the district court sentenced her to 24 months imprisonment. On appeal, she raises two assignments of error. First, defendant asserts that the district court improperly admitted evidence of prior misdemeanor convictions for “fraud” in violation of Rule 609(a)(2) of the Federal Rules of Evidence.
