Appellee sued appellants to recover commissions which he alleged were due him for' the sale of certain real estate in Jefferson county, Tex. He alleged that on about November 24, 1927, he was a real estate dealer and agent, and that on said date appellants placed with him for sale certain lots situated in the Granata and Amaimo additions bo the city of Beaumont, Tex., giving him the exclusive agency to sell same, on the following terms: “A total consideration of $6500.00, $1500.00 cash to be .paid by the purchaser upon the delivery of the deed of conveyance to him by the vendors; the…
