In an action for a divorce and ancillary relief, the defendant appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Orange County (Ecker, J.), dated September 8, 2011, as, upon granting the plaintiffs motion for an award of pendente lite maintenance, directed him to pay pendente lite maintenance in the sum of $7,500 per month.

Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.
