The-defendants below were the owners of an office building in Chattanooga. The signal system on the elevator got out of order, and they employed a firm of electrical contractors to remedy this trouble. The plain tiff beloiv was an employee of the contractors, sent to make the repairs, and while engaged in this work was seriously hurt by the alleged negligence of the elevator attendant. Suit was brought to recover for these injuries, and there was a judgment which has been affirmed by the court of civil appeals.
