SOSA, Senior Justice.

Plaintiff Ruth Lopez, personal representative of the estate of Dorothy Lopez, brought a medical malpractice claim against physicians and other staff employed by the University of New Mexico Hospital. Defendants moved to dismiss the first amended complaint on the grounds of improper venue, the naming of an improper party-defendant and lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
